Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Zenvoy is designed with privacy as its foundation. Your personal content — conversations, notes, and the context Zenvoy builds up about you — is built to stay on your own computer, not on our servers.

1. Introduction

CitronLab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates Zenvoy, a private AI assistant. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our Service, and how we handle the marketing website you're reading now.

You can reach us at the contact details in Section 12 below.

2. Our Approach to Your Data

Zenvoy is built around a simple principle: your personal content belongs on your own computer, not on someone else's servers. Specifically:

  • Your content stays with you: Conversations, notes, and the context Zenvoy builds up about you are designed to live on your own device.
  • We don't use your content to train anything: Your personal content is not used to train AI models.
  • You stay in control: You decide what Zenvoy does on your behalf and what it remembers, and you can remove it.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account Information

If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and basic account details necessary to provide the Service.

3.2 Subscription and Billing Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan or a Specialist add-on, we (or our payment processor) collect the information necessary to process that subscription, such as your plan and billing dates.

3.3 Website Analytics

On our marketing website only (not within the Zenvoy application), we may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand traffic and usage patterns. This is separate from, and does not affect, how the Zenvoy application handles your personal content.

3.4 Connections You Choose to Make

With your explicit consent, Zenvoy can connect to services such as your email, calendar, or notes to give it real context about your world. These connections are used to power the features you see in the app — to give Zenvoy context about your world, not to build a profile for advertising. You can disconnect any integration at any time.

4. How We Use Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To process subscriptions and payments
  • To send important service communications (e.g., security alerts, billing issues)
  • To improve our Service based on aggregated, anonymized usage data
  • To diagnose and fix technical issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

5. Data Storage and Security

Your personal content — the conversations, notes, and context Zenvoy works with day to day — is designed to be stored on your own device and protected with strong encryption. Any account or billing information we hold is protected with industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls.

Important: If Zenvoy uses a key or passphrase that only you control to protect your personal content, we do not have access to it and cannot assist with recovery if it is lost.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited account or billing information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We use third-party services (such as payment processing and error monitoring) that process limited account-level data on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, account information may be transferred to the acquiring entity, with notice to you.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information with your explicit consent.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our marketing website may use essential cookies for basic functionality and privacy-friendly analytics cookies to understand website usage. The Zenvoy application itself does not use tracking cookies.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of the account information we hold about you, and to opt out of marketing communications and analytics.

Your personal content — the conversations, notes, and context stored on your own device — is managed directly by you within the Zenvoy application. We do not have access to it and cannot retrieve or delete it on your behalf.

For assistance with your data rights, contact us at privacy@zenvoy.ai.

9. International Data Transfers

If you access our Service from outside the country where we operate, any account information you provide may be processed in that country.

Your personal content is designed to stay on your own device and is not transferred internationally by us.

10. GDPR and CCPA

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to object to or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
